
Built in 1921, the Victory Hall is situated on a three-quater acre site given to the Village by a Mr R. O. Leycester. Building costs were the princely sum of £4500, which was paid for by public subscription, sales of work and entertainments.
From the very start the Victory Hall has been the centre of village activity, It has been the regular meeting place for many of the village societies and organisations and let for a range of activities including dances, concerts, plays, badminton and keep fit classes.
The extension on the left is the private men's club, a popular meeting place offering snooker, bowls and club facilities.
