Mobberley Primary School is a Church of England controlled school which maintains close relations with St.Wilfrid's Church. It was opened on the present site in 1832 opposite St. Wilfrids Church. A large extension built in the 1950's added the junior classroom area, new toilet facilities, cloakrooms and extra storage areas.
