5TH ANNUAL MOBBERLEY VICTORY HALL MEMORIAL CLUB BEER FESTIVAL
The 2006 Beer Festival, supported by CAMRA the campaign for real ale, will be held at the Club over the long weekend Friday the 4th to Sunday the 6th of August. A total of 20 cask conditioned ales - all priced at just £1.65 per pint - from Shropshire and Staffordshire form the backbone for this year’s event with a wide range of tastes assured The event starts with a 70’s and 80’s disco on the Friday evening. Saturday is serious drink tasting day with BBQ food available all day through to the night time where the music get a little heavier with many of your rock favourites. On Sunday the BBQ resumes to feed the afternoon Open bowls competitors. A camping area is available for those traveling any distance - or wishing to taste more than the drink-drive limit! Opening times for the 3 days are: Friday 7pm until midnight; Saturday is from 12 noon until midnight and Sunday runs from noon until 10.30pm.
